NIJT-Meerut has a vast strength of trained staff who are professionally qualified from foreign institutions, experienced, competent, dedicated and ever willing to empower students and put them in the right direction in accordance with the talents and competence of each individual.

All Gemology labs, Design rooms and Manufacturing Workshops are fully air-conditioned with ample natural light, and are fully supported by two generator sets of ample capacity to cater for 100% power back-up. The workshops are designed to give students a broad range of technical experience, and the machine room is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art jewellery manufacturing machines that are fully equipped to accommodate and handle all aspects of jewellery making, including laser based cutting and welding machines. The Gemology classrooms and labs are equipped with modern high precision instruments sourced from all over the world that gives the student an in depth insight into the fascinating world of diamonds and coloured stones. The spacious design rooms are specially appointed for theory and practical classes with state-of-the-art presentation and reprographic equipment. It also provides a relaxed working environment. The well-stocked library caters for students who want to go beyond normal learning into the realm of research or deeper knowledge. It also caters for candidates seeking casual and light reading. It includes a range of latest magazines and books from tribal to modern/western style, jewellery and gemstones as well as books on general design subjects e.g. architecture, textile, industrial design and a plethora of reference books on gemology. A separate sophisticated CAD room with the latest in computerized equipment and design software (MATRIX) for every enrolled CAD student, is provided. Well-appointed Gemology labs with the latest state-of-the-art equipment that will enable a student to fully understand the nuances of gemology and thus be industry ready in all aspects.
