The Institute invites eminent members from the Gems and Jewellery fraternity to interact with students at the end of the course. These members either recruit directly or circulate names of star performers within the fraternity for future employment. In addition we hold placement fairs in the basement of the Institute where recruiters and potential job seekers are brought onto one platform and given an opportunity to interact. This is beneficial both for the recruiters as well as the job seekers.

Being an educational project of the Govt. of India and the Meerut Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Society with eminent members from the jewellery fraternity, NIJT-Meerut is in close contact with the industry. NIJT-Meerut hence provides close intraction between students and the Industry.

A Placement Career Fair (PCF) is held annually where NIJT-Meerut brings recruiters and job seekers together. This fair is a huge opportunity for both alumni and the industry to interact with the who’s who in the Gems and Jewellery Industry.

NIJT-Meerut aims to prepare students to be well informed functionaries in their chosen field i.e. jewellery manufacturing, gemology & jewellery Designing. When they graduate from the Institute they can expect to mesh seamlessly into the industry as Professionals, Designers, Gemologists or set up their own labs and workshops besides becoming successful entrepreneurs.
