1) Fix your goal-

2) Find a good institute-

NIJT stands for National Institute of Jewellery Technology. This institute is a gem if you want to pursue jewellery designing because it has everything that you can imagine around jewellery designing. NIJT presents different types of courses so can choose whatever you want in it and whatever you think you will be best in.

There is also a degree course that is affiliated with C.C.S. University. C.C.S. University was established in 1965 and is a reliable source of education for lakhs of students around India. So if you are doing a jewellery design course from NIJT, you are doing it from a well-established University. 

3) Pursue a Jewellery designing course-

Whether it is a short-term or long-term course, is totally up to you. If you live around West Uttar Pradesh then you can pursue a jewellery design course from NIJT Institute, Meerut. As we all know India is the biggest market of Gold jewellery. Every Indian girl which is married at least have one piece of gold jewellery. It is a status symbol and also a tradition. Once you enroll in your course you will know how this industry works and you will be able to know how you will be the best designer out there. 

Now if you want to become a full-time jewellery designer then you must Pursuing a degree in Jewellery Designing from NIJT. If you have some previous knowledge in this sector, then you can do some specialization courses which are short-term courses. 4) Learn Computer Aided designing-

6) Find a job-

After making a good portfolio, you will have to find a job. If you want to become a jewellery designer, then you have to find a good job that will bring you the opportunity to find good experience in this field. So you can eventually start your own label.

7) Build your own Brand-

After doing all this, when you think that you have enough experience then you can go to work for world-class designers or you can also start your own brand or jewellery designing firm. It's all up to your potential and willingness. What you want to become in life is very important. As this decision will decide your future.  

You can also do freelancing. This is a form of work where you work in the comfort of your home. You are not in a job but you take part time work from brands and design some specific jewelries for them. You can give hours as you like and you can work from comfort of your home while doing freelancing.
